This Itadogun, as we approach the new gregorian year, IFA foresees blessings of money, love, and possibly even the coming of children, or children in the extended family, this coming year for the members of Oyeku Ofun Temple.
On this the sacred Odu IFA Ogundabede says:
Kanrangbada-Akara-Ngbada
Ile Owa ni mo wa
Ki owo titun o wa mi wa
Ki aya titun o wa mi wa
Ki omo titun o wa mi wa
Bi omode hafi oju ba Alakara a so isu nu.
Ogundasoriref’ogbe kiose oriire fun mi o.
Translation:
Kanrangbada-Akara-Ngbada
I am in Owa’s house
Let new money seek for me
Let new wives seek for me
Let new children seek for me
If a child sees Alakara he will throw away his piece of yam.
Ogundasoriref’ogbe give me good fortune.
This Itadogun we are to offer 8 pieces of akara (bean cake) to IFA, so we may see all blessings in life these coming weeks, and for the entire coming new gregorian year. Ase o
