Itadogun 9/15/2012

This Itadogun, Ifa says we must be careful of our character and we must be sure to be good and benevolent. It is through our good actions that we will see the blessings of Olodumare these coming weeks.
Ifa says we are to offer a knife to Esu and to feed Ifa with one obi abata (kolanut) for each member of your home.

On this sacred Odu Ifa Oturagasa says:
Bi winiwini ba pe ka ma lagi lojude baba toun mo
A gbe lo ojude baba winniwinni loo la
Dia fun Otura
To ti ngasa
Ẹbọ ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ẹbọ, o ru’bo
Igba Otura ti ngasa
Oun la ri baba lori esin

Translation:
If someone insists that we must not cut the wood in front of his father’s house again
We will take it to another person’s father’s frontage to cut
Ifa’s message for Otura
Who had been practicing exclusive goodness and benevolence
He was advised to offer Ẹbọ
He complied
When Otura had been practicing exclusive goodness and benevolence
That was when we saw him on top of a horse

May we be practicing exclusively goodness and may we be found on top of the horse (may we be seen as honorable). Ase O.
