ITADOGUN 5/16/14
This Itadogun Ifa says we will see Ire Aje — blessings of wealth. On this Ifa says we must be careful not to be loose-lipped and overly talkative these coming weeks, especially on matters that are not pertaining to us. Ifa warns us that those who reveal a friend’s secrets will not get far in life at all.
Ifa says we must be making sacrifice to overcome obstacles and to see the blessings of wealth manifest for us these coming weeks. Ifa says the sacrifice to be offered is to be one kolanut (obi) to our father’s Ori. Also, we should be appeasing Obatala with cornmeal and cotton wool. These offerings will ensure our success this coming weeks. Ase
[IFA divination will be performed every Itadogun (every 16 days) and information will be posted detailing what offerings should be made following each Itadogun.]
** Next Itadogun will be 6/1/14 (New Year)
May Olodumare guide and guard us. Ase O

Blessings. When we are making the offering for Obatala do we use cotton and wool meaning a piece if fabric. Module. In advance for your advice.

We will use the natural the wool from the cotton plant itself. You can get away with using cotton balls which are essentially the same but processed (and bleached). But best is to use natural, unprocessed cotton wool.
May our offerings be accepted. Ase Olodumare
