This Itadogun, IFA says that we will be blessed with deathlessness (Ire Aiku), and that we should make sacrifice. IFA says that if we make sacrifice we will see most surely survive to see next Itadogun period. IFA says that each and every person should be making offerings to their ORI with cool water and food stuffs.

Ti nloo we Orii re ni ibara
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’Ebo, o ru’bo
Igba Ogunda we’ri re nibara
Igba yen l’Ori gbo kekeeke

Translation
The Okete, giant rat, that misses the trap set by the hunter
It is only postponing its day of being sold in the market
Ifa’s message for Ogunda
When going to feed his Ori in the house frontage
