I Cannot Practice Ifa’s Business Without Being Recognized

The hoopoe landed on Iroko tree
And was making kafe-kafe sound
Ifa’s message for Ọrunmila
When he had no money to spend
He was advised to offer Ẹbọ
He complied
I cannot practice Ifa’s business without being recognized
It is Ogumo that authorizes my being given recognition
Let people send others to come for me in front
And send many more others to come for me from behind
I cannot practice Ifa’s business without being recognized
