All the Rivers of the World Put Together Are Not as Remarkable as the Ocean

All the rivers of the world put together
Are not as remarkable as the Ocean
All the streams of the world put together
Are far less than the Lagoon
Cast Ifa for Orisanla Oseremagbo (Obatala)
On the day he was to be made king
When all the deities wanted to take away one of its powers
Orunmila refused to grant their wish, so did Elegbara
There is no Odu Ifa that takes precedence over Ejiogbe
The paramount Odu
Ejiogbe, you are the paramount Odu
Any river that does not recognize the pre-eminence of the Ocean
Will dry up completely
Before the savannah burns, it will first dry up
I request for wealth from Olosa, the second in command
I received this but not sufficiently
I requested for wealth from Olokun Seniade
The king of all rivers
I received but not sufficiently
Who does not know that it is only the wealth
Given by OLODUMARE that lasts for life?

Sow Humanness and Honesty Today for a Blissful Tomorrow

It is the big rod that torments the gong
Torrential rains reduce the ant-hill to mud
Osun Ewuji, desirous of eating and drinking
Crawled stealthily into the ocean
Cast IFA for Eyin-Iwa (Thereafter)
Who is the senior of Oni (Today)
You people of Isinpe
It is because of Eyin-Iwa
That we should be benevolent to Oni (Today)
For whatever seed we plant today
We shall reap the fruits tomorrow
Sow humanness and honesty today
For a blissful tomorrow

Seek his opinion too
We will never know whose dead father had bequeathed good legacy until after his death

The one who had a vast expanse of farmland
When he was toiling without any successful reward
He was advised to offer Ebo, he heard and complied

Who is Dependable Enough to Sleep On?

IFA teaches us who is dependable enough to sleep upon:
Orunmila declares that it is time for rest
I respond that it is time to sleep on top of someone
Ifa says that who is dependable enough to sleep upon?
I respond that our parents are dependable enough to sleep upon
I never knew that our parents are not worthy of sleeping upon at all
Orunmila declares that it is time for rest
I respond that it is time to sleep on top of someone
Ifa says that who is dependable enough to sleep upon?
I respond that our spouses are dependable enough for us to sleep upon
I never knew that our spouses are not worthy of sleeping upon at all
Orunmila declares that it is time to take a rest
I respond that it is time to sleep on top of someone
Ifa says that who is dependable enough to sleep upon?
I respond that our children are dependable enough to sleep upon
I never know that our children are not worthy of sleeping upon at all
I now declare my ignorance of who is dependable enough to sleep upon
Ifa if you program me to become wealthy
Ope agunka forever will I continue to sleep upon you
Ifa if you program me to be blessed with good kids
Ope agunka, forever will I continue to sleep upon you
Ifa if you program me to be blessed with all the good things of life
Ope agunka, forever will I continue to sleep on you

Itadogun Reading 10/2/2018

Itadogun Reading 10/2/2018-

IFA warns us of untimely death. IFA says that all followers of IFA should be devout and loyal. IFA says that there are some who are doubting IFA and even turning their backs to IFA. IFA says that the true devotees should not heckle or even try to persuade them from straying. IFA says that all blessings in life are in the hands of IFA and ORISA and that any who abandon IFA and ORISA will have unconsummated blessings. On this IFA says we should be making an offering to IFA with 2 fish. On this IFA says:
Mashed corn seller does not dip her hand in water
An elder does not sell sand
An elder who sells sand as salt will be paid with stone
Ifa’s message for the inhabitants of Ede land
Where they had decided not to worship Ifa anymore
They were advised to offer sacrifice
They refused
And everything went wrong for them
You, inhabitants of Ede land who declared that you will no longer
serve Ifa
The disgrace and embarrassment are all yours

With Care and Compassion Do We Collect the Eggs of the Chicken

Kekenke — to be favored — the Awo of Kekenke
Gegenge — to be pampered — the Awo of Gegenge
These are the ones who cast IFA for Orimonikee
The one who had the support of their ORI (Head) from the ORUN (Spiritual Realm)
IFA, please continue to favor me
ORI, please continue to show me favor
Fellow human beings in life, please keep favoring me and loving me
With care and compassion do we collect the eggs of the chicken

Itadogun Reading 7/14/2018

IFA divination will be performed every Itadogun (every 17 days) and information will be posted detailing what offerings should be made following each Itadogun.

Itadogun Reading 7/14/2018

This Itadogun IFA warns us against contention. IFA says that we must not fight/argue this Itadogun. IFA says that we must not be greedy or miserly this Itadogun. IFA says that those who were doing good by people, yet were being taken advantage of, these people should not fret. They should leave the matter to OLODUMARE. IFA says that they will reap what they sow, both those who do good and those who do evil. IFA says that we should all be making an offering with 2 fish (eja) to IFA. IFA says victory will belong to those who take heed. On this IFA says:
The cactus did good deeds
But decided that he will not do good deeds any longer
They turn the generous people into foolish ones
The problem that a generous person encounters
That problem caused him to receive 2000 cowries
If a miserly person comes
They will ensure that he pays every penalty instead
IFA’s declaration to Odidere
When all blessings were coming from behind
And he declared that his blessings were in front of him
He was advised to offer Ebo
He complied
Before long, not far
Join us in the midst of all Ire

May OLODUMARE protect us and provide for us. Ase O

Sincerely,
Apena Fagbemijo Amosun Fakayode
